Unlike faster-paced styles of yoga, Hatha practice emphasizes quality of movement over quantity, allowing time to explore sensations, thoughts, and subtle energy within each pose. Katie received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification from the renowned Kaivalyadham Yoga Institute in Lonavala, India. Founded in 1924, Kaivalyadham is one of the oldest and most respected yoga institutions in the world, known for its dedication to preserving traditional Hatha yoga practices and philosophy while integrating modern scientific research.
